Our workplaces are changing. Demographic shifts mean that there are multiple generations in the workplace. Legal and legislative change means that our understanding and conception of family is broadening. Following the success of last years “unconference”, this year’s attendees will have the opportunity to focus on and dig deep into issues of multi-generational workplaces, dual career challenges and servicing the full range of family formations.
Academic institutions have embraced principles of equity as a core value underpinning their mission. What do we mean by equity and diversity? Can we have diversity but neglect inclusion? Do we have any blind spots on who we embrace under the equity, diversity and inclusion tent? How do we know who we have missed if our ability to measure diversity is varied?
