Strategist (Institutional Accessibility Initiatives)


The Strategist (Institutional Accessibility Initiatives) works independently and reports to the Director, Institutional Initiatives Planning & Evaluation. The Strategist oversees the university’s accessibility planning and compliance monitoring processes, maintains the online Accessibility Hub, and establishes and coordinates mechanisms for effective and efficient communication and collaboration across the network of central and decentralized offices and champions working to advance accessibility. The Strategist is a key consultant for and contributor to UBC’s accessibility communities of practice and ecosystem, including committees and teams established to advance UBC’s accessibility priorities.

Communications Specialist

The Communications Specialist leads, develops and implements communication plans, and produces and distributes communication materials that support the advancement of equity, diversity and inclusion priorities at UBC whilst applying project management and partner relation practices.
