Dimensions Pilot
Co-led by the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation and the UBC’s Equity & Inclusion Office, the Dimensions pilot is part of UBC’s participations in the federal government’s Dimensions program. The program is designed to identify and eliminate obstacles and inequities for marginalized and under-represented people in postsecondary research settings.

Student Demographic Data Project
The Student Demographic Data Project aims to enhance the collection of student demographic data and enable the university to better understand student experiences, support student inclusion and success, and assess progress of equity, diversity and inclusion priorities.

Employment Equity Survey
Working with the Vice-President, Human Resources portfolio, and the Planning and Institutional Research Office, the Equity & Inclusion Office conducts the annual employment equity survey of the UBC workforce. The survey seeks to to examine patterns and trends in employment across the university and identify barriers to equitable employment.

Inclusion Action Plan
The Equity & Inclusion Office provides leadership and backbone and coordination support to institutional, faculty and unit-level efforts to implement and operationalize the goals and actions identified in UBC’s Inclusion Action Plan.
