Overview

The IBPOC STEM Network is an affinity space for IBPOC women, transgender and non-binary persons working in a STEM field at UBC to come together and find connection, support and mentorship.

If you are a faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellow, or graduate student who identifies as an IBPOC woman, transgender or non-binary persons, join the IBPOC STEM Network for light refreshments and a walk through Nitobe Memorial Garden.

What to expect

  • Enjoy a walk through Nitobe Memorial Garden while connecting with other IBPOC women, transgender and non-binary persons working at UBC
  • Light refreshments from Loafe Café will be provided.
  • Please bring your UBC ID card to gain free access to the garden

Who can join

UBC faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students who identify as an IBPOC woman, transgender or non-binary persons are welcome.
