Looking to join and build a community for IBPOC staff and faculty? Join us for IBPOC Connections* lunch – a social gathering for faculty and staff who self-identify as Indigenous, Black or as a Person of Colour (IBPOC).
IBPOC Connections provides a unique and intentional space to build community and create a space of belonging for IBPOC faculty and staff at UBC Vancouver.
This event will focus on “important conversations” and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in themed conversations and learn about additional opportunities to connect with colleagues with shared experiences and interests.
This initiative is hosted on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam people and with the support of the Equity & Inclusion Office and St. John’s College.
Cost – pay what you can:
- $5 covers a portion of event costs
- $10 contributes to future IBPOC Connections events
Please register early as seating is limited. This gathering is for IBPOC staff and faculty; if you are an ally interested in attending, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to register (pending capacity).
Please note that this event will be photographed for reporting purposes only.
