Does your department want to prioritize equity, diversity, inclusion (EDI) in your work, but you’re not sure where to start? Join this workshop to learn more about UBC’s Activating Inclusion Toolkit and the cycle of EDI planning, learning, and action for UBC units and departments. We will also be highlighting the publication of three new tools to further support units to incorporate EDI into their strategies, plans, and processes.
Workshop Outcomes:
- Learn about opportunities for units and departments to advance the IAP;
- Familiarize yourself with the cycle of EDI planning, learning, and action;
- Review the tools in the Activating Inclusion Toolkit and three recently-launched tools; and
- Empower yourself to begin using one or more of the tools in their unit to advance EDI.
