Bio
Elisabeth provides impartial human rights advising to all members of the UBC community.
Prior to joining the EIO, Elisabeth practiced law primarily in the areas of labour, employment, privacy, and human rights. Elisabeth has experience with the human rights landscape both in Canada and abroad, and brings compassion and practicality to her work. She obtained her JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, and her Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) from the University of Ottawa. She is trained in mediation and trauma-informed practice.
Elisabeth also has a strong interest in health and sits on the EIO’s Wellbeing Committee.
