Dimensions Action Plan for EDI in Research
Developed as part of UBC’s participation in the federal government’s Dimensions: equity, diversity and inclusion Canada program, UBC’s Dimensions Action Plan offers a lens on EDI that relates to research-specific programs and support. Implementation and monitoring of the plan is coordinated by the Equity & Inclusion Office.
Student Demographic Data Project
The Student Demographic Data Project aims to enhance the collection of student demographic data and enable the university to better understand student experiences, support student inclusion and success, and assess progress of equity, diversity and inclusion priorities.
Employment Equity
Committed to equity in employment, we are working to identify and eliminate any discriminatory barriers that interfere with employment opportunities in all jobs and at all levels across the institution.
Strategic Equity and Anti-racism Framework
Endorsed by UBC’s leadership, the Strategic Equity and Anti-Racism (StEAR) Framework guides the university’s approach to implementation of equity and anti-racism priorities and evaluation of progress.
