Join us for the fourth gathering of the EDI Action Network, a space for connection, shared learning, and development for students, faculty and staff working to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives within their departments and units to build a more inclusive UBC.
Dr. Arig al Shaibah, UBC’s new Associate Vice-President, Equity and Inclusion, will welcome participants and provide an update on institutional EDI initiatives at UBC. We will also feature our customary panel of faculty and staff presenting on how they have structured EDI efforts in their own departments and units, focusing on their lessons learned and ingredients for success.
This gathering will also include opportunities for connection with colleagues leading EDI initiatives across UBC through facilitated breakout rooms.
