Dr. Nabavi has 15 years of experience in developing, facilitating and implementing organizational change strategies. At the EIO, she leads and facilitates collaborative processes to identify and assess needs, and to plan and develop strategies and initiatives related to equity, diversity, and inclusion for faculty and staff. Prior to joining the EIO in 2017, she successfully developed and implemented a range of strategic, programmatic, educational, and policy initiatives for enhancing experiences and opportunities for individuals and communities to whom social structures offer least. She holds a PhD in Educational Studies from UBC (2012).
