EDI Action Network participants are invited to a virtual iteration of the in-person gathering “Advancing EDI During Tumultuous Times” that took place in the spring. As with the in-person event, the virtual session will provide an opportunity to connect with colleagues across campus doing EDI work and engage with an important and timely theme.
Context: We continue to navigate unprecedented times in the field of EDI as we contend with backlash against EDI efforts from some quarters within Canada, alongside an attack by the current US administration on DEI (as it is called south of the border), which includes its dismantling and de-funding. During this difficult period, it is important to come together and build mutually supportive networks and strategies to meet the challenges and reassert our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion amongst our campus community.
Registration is required. Please register here.
