InterculturalU is a community blog dedicated to discussions around intercultural understanding at UBC and the development of the mid-level strategic plan around the University’s commitment to intercultural understanding, specific to Vancouver and Okanagan campuses.
“The blog is meant to be a dynamic hub for everything to do with forwarding the strategic plan,” said Alden Habacon, Director, Intercultural Understanding Strategy Development. Habacon’s portfolio is integrated into the Office of the Provost and VP Academic and the Equity and Inclusion Office.
Habacon envisions the blog as a dynamic space where he, and guest editors including UBC students, faculty and staff, can post information and stay aware of discussions and events regarding intercultural understanding at UBC.
The latest version of UBC Vancouver Intercultural Understanding Strategic Plan: The Intercultural Promise working draft is posted on the site.
